OUR History
Welcome to the country! Think about this - drive down a county road (paved of course, but you get the idea) with the most beautiful backdrop, farmland for miles no matter what direction you are coming from. Then you come to the little, like little, town of Bridgewater. Speed through the blinking light and you'll miss us. You'll see our cute, little bar right there on the corner. Park and come right on in. You'll be greeted with
smiles from our staff and our regulars - they love new, friendly faces.

Have a seat and order an ice-cold beer, a basket of hand-battered onion rings and a burger to die for. You will not be disappointed. We assure you. Not to brag, but we were voted in the "top 22 burgers in the state of Michigan" - the whole state! Not into burgers? Our signature sandwich - the Porky's Pride is loaded with sliced ham, thick-cut bacon, roasted pork all smothered in our house-made BBQ sauce and topped with creamy coleslaw.
Then grilled to perfection on Texas toast with melted cheddar cheese.
Every Friday (all day long) we have a fish fry. People come from all over just to have our fish on Fridays.

Sarah and Christina, two sisters, own the Bank. They've worked there for almost 20 years. Sarah started by bussing tables and Christina worked in the kitchen. Both graduated from Michigan State (go green!) and made their way back when there was an opportunity to buy the Bank - from the sweetest couple, you'll probably run into them sitting at the bar, having a beer.

So please, come in and see us.
We would love to have you!

And scroll down to join our mailing list - we have the best customers in the world, literally. They've helped us survive the rollercoaster that the last year has been. So whether you have dined with us before, or this is your first experience at the Bank - we thank you for joining us and hope that you love it as much as we do!
